In the Register of purchasers of livestock in 2011 are registered a total of 11 legal entities.According to the plans of these entities are being planned to purchase 424,000 heads of lambs by the end of this year and the following one.This figure includes lambs that are redeemed before the Christmas holidays and are being purchased primarily for export.The price of live weight per lamb are formed according to the market principles and depends primarily of the quality and demand for lambs before the New Year holidays, because the offer of lambs has less impact on the price.

There are not signed agreements between primary producers - sheep breeders and slaughterhouses, so there is no division of market risks - between the manufacturers, purchasers - slaughterhouses - exporters.

This festive season the purchase`s pricesper kilogram live weight lamb achieved under the following classes as follows: the first class - 200 to 210 denars/kg, for a second class -190 to 200 denars/kg and for a third class - 175 to 190 denars/kg.
