Higher prices of vegetables

As a consequence of the rain and floods the higher prices of vegetables in the green markets are noticed, which increase is 2.8 % for cucumber and 99% for lettuce.
A remarkable increase in the price of 75% is noticed in spring cabbage this week, on average sells for 38 den./kg, compared to the same period last year when the average price was 22 den. /kg. Price decrease of 19.8 % has only the old potato.

The wholesale market (Wholesale market in Skopje) prices of vegetables currently is: pepper sells on average 120-130 den. / Kg, tomato 90-100 den. / Kg, cabbage 30-33 den. / kg, beans imported 90-100 den. / kg domestic beans 135-140 den. / kg, lettuce 10-15 den. / potato(young) 45-55 den. / kg, cucumber 35-40 den. / kg carrot 40-45 den. / kg and spinach 20 to 25 den. / kg
